The Canterbury Woods PTA is excited to offer enrichment classes for Canterbury Woods students.
An easy, safe, convenient way for your child to explore a new hobby, dive deeper into a developing
passion, or hang out with friends before or after school in a fun, structured environment!

The following classes will be offered this winter 2019:
Sign and Learn ASL (American Sign Language) (Grades K-5): Learn ASL
handshapes and signs through songs, games, books and video clips.
Fencing for Young Yedi I (Grades K-6): Classes focus on the fundamentals
of fencing including footwork, handwork, strategy and rules of fencing.
Hip Hop (Grades K-5): Hip Hop Dance is a great fit for children and it creates
an environment of excitement around being healthy and active!
STEM exCEL Robotics (Grades 3-6): Students learn how to design, build,
and program Lego Mindstorms EV3 robots by constructing and programming
Guitar Club (Grades 3-6): Each session includes a brand new set of fun
songs to learn from a variety of styles ending with a Final Performance for
family and friends!
Debate Club (Grades 3-6): This club introduces students to parliamentary
debate. Group exercises develop public speaking, critical reasoning,
argument construction, rebuttal, and evidence presentation skills.
Robotics for Little Coders (Grades K-2): Students are introduced to basic
coding concepts with simple tasks, such as customizing their Ozobot and
assigning commands through different colors, then build up to more complex
tasks with Ozobot's simple drag-and-drop language.
